A Collaborative Journey in
elevating the Aspiring Product Manager Club website to 800+ engaging site sessions
I joined APMC, as one of the early product designers to redesign the product for its annual product hackathon program, and other services, where I designed, prototyped, and tested the prototype pages, and conditionally worked on increasing site performance, through continuous iterations, as well as my role included to get user requirements from product managers, conduct brainstorming sessions with designers and managers.
To re-design the APMC site for annual hackathons and iterate for a better user experience.

The Aspiring Product Managers Club at Northeastern University is a pioneering hub exclusively devoted to product management. It serves as a vibrant space where members build innovative products, engage in mentorship sessions (such as Northstar and Meteor), and participate in exciting hackathons (like its Product hackathon) and challenges.
When I joined the design team at APMC, I observed that the current website was in process and the other major challenge was also that no user testing was done even for the wireframes, and the club's website urgently needed improvement to effectively assist students to register for product hackathon.
I spearheaded brainstorming sessions with the team to map out the design requirements, user needs, and product objectives to build the wireframes, after which I sat with the design team to craft basic wireframes.
Mid- Fi Wireframes
After getting approval from product managers, designers and researchers to craft mid- fidelity wireframes, I worked on interactions design and testing the designs. Link to the Figma file
Post testing, them we went to iterate and craft the final prototype
We utilized data like heatmaps, click rates, bounce rates, to iterate on designs, post testing.
As a design lead, with a team of three designers and four mangers, I managed to achieve more than 450 site sessions
Daily Active Users
Currently, after the success of the product hakathon, we have nearly 800 active users
The bounce rate, was reduced significantly, due to constant updates, and iterations
